👋 Hi! I'm Giacomo Pacini
I am a passionate software engineer graduated in the Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering at the University of Pisa.
With a strong foundation in computer engineering, coupled with expertise in deep learning, cloud computing, and data engineering, I am dedicated to leveraging technology to solve complex challenges and drive innovation.
What I’m doing
I am an associate researcher in multimodal Artificial Intelligence at CNR - ISTI, part of the Italian National Research Council.
I am doing research in the field of image captioning, multi-modal information retrieval and multimodal AI in general.
In November 2024 I started my PhD at the University of Pisa.

- Description: I developed a web platform that simulates the exam needed to achieve the Open Category UAS pilot certificate (drone pilot), it currently has more than 24.000 users.

- Description: An in-car service that generates a radio feed customized on passengers’ interests exploiting various machine learning and AI techniques.
